Westview offer a full range of RICS Home Survey services including, Condition, Homebuyer or Building Survey, as well as Property Valuation for private clients.
We regularly inspect and produce valuation and survey reports on the differing forms of interest and tenure that exist in residential properties. Estate agents and surveying firms that are regulated by RICS will be easier to spot as they will use Regulated by RICS' on their stationery and advertising material.

We are also an independent organization and our members are affiliated. An affiliated member of the RICS will have the initials: AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS after their name. Only such members are permitted to undertake RICS Home Surveys.
If you are uncertain about which type of survey you require or you have particular concerns about a property that you are interested in purchasing, see the link below or talk to a Westview RICS member. We will discuss any particular concerns you may have and may help you to decide which survey is better suited to your needs.

Survey costs vary according to the type you require, but all reports are designed to offer reassurance and peace of mind when purchasing a property.
The RICS Practice statements require that all its members agree terms and conditions with a client before the client is engaged in a Home Survey contract and the service carried out.
These terms and conditions reduce the likelihood of any surprises for either the client or the Chartered Surveyor with regard to fees, thus avoiding any disputes.

If in the unlikely event you do have cause to complain about any aspect of our service, Westview have in place a clear complaints procedure. All RICS members are required to operate such a complaints handling procedure and ours is available upon request.

We believe we have developed transparent and uncomplicated ways of assisting customers over the many years of combined experience in surveying and valuations. We take pride in the work we do, providing a personal service and modern demands whilst maintaining traditional standards. If you feel we could be of benefit to you, please do get in touch and we will endeavour to assist.
